Day 1

3:00 PM Check-in

4:30 PM Light Bath

Rest your head on the edge of the tub and soak at a leisurely pace, letting the fatigue of your journey melt away.
Be sure to also enjoy the mist shower, known for its gentle feel and skin-beautifying benefits.
※ Allow at least 30 minutes between bathing and meals, and be sure to stay hydrated before and after.

6:00 PM Dinner

Savor a cuisine crafted with ingredients known for their sleep-enhancing properties.
Delight in locally sourced kaiseki cuisine and freshly fried zashiki tempura — a feast for the ears and eyes alike.
As it is important to complete digestion before sleeping, an earlier dinner time is recommended.

8:30 PM Full Bath

Soak in the hot spring for about 15 minutes. Raising your body temperature until your forehead glistens with perspiration
will cause a sharp drop in temperature afterward — and that is exactly when sleepiness sets in.
After bathing, wrap up in a bathrobe to retain warmth and allow 20–30 minutes for perspiration to flush out waste and ease fatigue.

Mikawa is the birthplace of fireworks in Japan. Tokugawa Ieyasu permitted gunpowder production exclusively in Mikawa,
and over time that knowledge evolved into the art of fireworks making.
Focusing on the delicate sparkler flame brings you into a mindful state, bringing peace to the heart.

Soak in a hot bath for 3 to 5 minutes.
As body temperature is naturally lower in the morning, bathing raises it and switches you into activity mode.
A hot shower is equally effective.
